Born and raised in Hong Kong, Ray has always been an active person doing all sorts of outdoor sports such as hiking, kayaking, and rock-climbing. Ray truly began his journey in fitness when he was studying in New York where he encountered the culture of street workout in which functional bodyweight training can be taken to the extreme! Ray's passion for fitness kept growing and also got him involved in strongman training, powerlifting and olympic weightlifting. Ray's training is not only about functionality, Ray believes aesthetics comes with strength and fitness. Ray himself has been proudly representing Studio Fitness in various powerlifting and bodybuilding meets with remarkable results! Ray also constantly experiments the most innovative concepts in the fitness industry such as various protocols of intermittent fasting to ensure his toolbox stay fresh for maximal customisation suiting the individual needs of his trainees.
